It’s my first time useing these pots I wanted to repot up but I can’t get the plant out the pot it seems the roots are into the fabric at the bottom and without tearing them seems it will not come off. There only in 1 gal pots and next week I wanted to go into flowering. would I be better just cutting the pot and leaveing the fabric bottom part on to pot up or just flowering them in the 1 gal pot ? I didn’t expect this problem.

Just cut the cloth off. It won't hurt. They are far more hardy than people expect. I choose to score any damaged roots and tease the shit out of them once I cut the pot off anyway and haven't had much issues. I'd throw them in three gallon fabrics, a good all round size. My last autos pulled 6-7 ounces from 2.5 gal pots, and still had some room for roots.

I'm going to try the Velcro smart pots next time. Makes it far easier to up pot the fabrics without cutting them up.

Thanks for the quick reply, I will try that now yeah the ones there stuck in are a non branded cheap one but I have root nurse pots for the next pot. I have 4 fems going into week 6 on Monday yeah I wanted to put into 3 gals ones but have to settle for 2 as room is a issue right now but hopeing next ones I can use the big ones.

What medium are you using? I've seen some killer plants grown in 2 gal fabrics using Coco and drain to waste drip, and have personally filled a 2x4 with a 2gallon pot of amended Coco/compost medium.

That was the one done in a 2 gallon pot, single plant.

Very nice Im just growing in biobizz soil all I used to use was compost and plant magic or biobizz nutrients. I haven't grown for a few years so feels a bit new and useing these led lights. Here's a plant a few years back in a 3 gallon pot.

I go from solo cups to 1g plastic pot then into 5 or 7 gallon fabric pots. I found the fabric pots are harder to use if transplanting. For that reason I only have my final pots in fabric. Could be better ways out there, this just works best for me!
