View attachment 2640548 i just noticed u can see the yellowing a bit better in this pic. headband on the right towards the bottom u can see some yellowing leaves
Sorry, can't see the yellowing from the pic. Any chance of getting some better, clearer, closer pics?

Cal/mag deficiency is the general diagnosis in flower but there are certainly others, especially early. N deficiency is a possibility and is common at the end of the stretch in flower (first couple weeks) - are the leaves yellowing evenly starting at the tips and working toward the stems? Phosphorous def is a possibility - Salt buildup? Are you seeing yellowing of the leaves but the veins are still dark green?

I believe I see the leaves your refering to tw1st3d, and it looks like Mag deficiency to me. Try a 1/2 strength solution of CalMag or your equivilant with the next watering. Lacking the Mag is affecting the uptake of N which is why you`re getting the discoloration

I retract my previous statement after seeing those up close. You`ve got K burn they`re just early onset, you can tell by the torched tips and the yellowing slowly moving down while the veins remain that green we want to see

**Edit - One of my ladies has a touch of this as well, did you recently water? **

Was the nute burn (leaf tips) there before the yellowing showed up? If so, I would say Mg deficiency. If not and they both started about the same time I'd defer to KC's diagnosis.

hmmm im guessing about the same time. i noticed there was a slight burn the other day then this happened about a day later
My remedy was to do my following feeding with my plain distilled water (always use) + my 1 drop / Litre of SuperThrive. Period. Dropping all supplemental feeding until the plant can absorb the diluted portions already added. Beats completely flushing the medium, which would massacre my mycos (no thanks :p). Give it a whirl, I`ll try to get some before and aftes up to show the improvement, please do the same :)

yea i was trying to avoid flushing if i could. my grow area isnt really flush friendly so if i can wait till the final flush before harvest i always try to. plus its my first time goin organic and i would like to think i have a pretty nice mirco system goin on in my soil, hence y they have done so well up to this point

If your soil had base of mycos to begin with, you`ve likely got a bunch if you haven`t watered regularily with H2O2 (high-er doses that is). Using my remedy will save you a flush, should help balance everything out. My girls indicators like yours are resolving now, watered yesterday morning :)

yea i watered yesterday and they dont look any worse, it looks to me like a cal mag problem so tomorrow when i water again i was gonna up the cal mag dosage n just give them and water. how often to u feed? when i was under the T5 i would only have to water twice a week feeding on tuesdayish then plain water around friday, but now under my HPS the soil drys out more and im watering more often. wasnt sure if i should still do my feedings tuesday and water the rest of the week. i grew autos for a while and they werent so needy on nutes n this is my first photoperiod grow. autos were a nice introduction, i learned alot and the transition was easy but this is like a whole new world so theres still a couple things im unsure about. but from every thing u guys have said throughout this post ive been doin well so far lol

Haha, a slight transition probably doesn`t describe it mate. Probably did yourself a disadvatage by starting with autos as it`s nothing like the growth cycle of any other plant. It`s original genes have been altered. You will definitely learn more biology with regular plants as opposed to something that follows a strict procedure and has been genetically modified.

But like you said, you will water less with CFL/T5 as opposed to the HPS because the plants use the water to roots to try to keep it`s temperature down naturally. I water under my CFLs @ 5-6 days depending on growth period and strain, but I always measure by weight, best indication of dry soil aside from the indications the plant will give you. Under my HPS however, even my vegging plants will drink every 2-4 days again depending on pot size, strain, and medium used

I would have to agree that you`ve done well so far though mate. Keep us updated,

yea alot of people said its a disadvantage but i dont see it that way. even though the life cycle is shorter and they feed less i still learned how to read my plants and diagnose a problem, i learned patience and the importance of a schedule. how to keep my room clean and i also got a grasp on LST and topping. like i said i learned alot and the transition was easy but its a whole new world. i took some new pics of the girls but i lost the usb cord to my phone so once i find it or get a new one (hopefully find) i'll upload them. thanks to ur help i stopped the issue i was having, just gave some plain water with a shot of cal mag. i think the leaf burn came from me adding flower nutes when the soil still had just a touch left of what they started with out the bag. the stretch has pretty much come to a stop and its starting to bud up bongsmilie

I totally understand what you`re saying here man. You basically jumped mad steps using autos first, haha, had to jump into advanced class at times, so I would agree. That starting with autos probably did add to your skillset . My firs grow years and years ago, I threw some germinated seeds in my neighbors yard (who was a avid gardener), amoungst some of his fence plants, haha. He figured out what they were well before flower, haha, inside after that. I give respect to the avenue you took my friend.,

Good job getting the ladies healed up, be waitin`for another nice update boss man, happy growing,

Glad to hear things are moving along for ya. Just grabbed a couple picks of my BBHs in veg. I think I mentioned earlier that I was trying to slow them down as I have a logjam going into flower so I topped them at the third node ~ 2 weeks ago. Dropped the seeds on 3/28, so about 4 weeks veg at this point. I think I am going to have a tough time taming them til I can get them a slot in the Big Girls room as they are getting bushy from only four main branches. So looking forward to the smoke but you'll be getting there first. bongsmilie
