Post pic with HPS off, so we can see what they really look like plus it would help to have more info and more pics of the whole plant.

looks like for starters their a little N toxic are you feeding if so what?

Will sort out better pictures soon cheers, so far they have had no nutes, 3/9 plants look like this while the rest look healthy

temps have been around a low of 60 and a high of around 80, gave them a good watering 2 hours ago and no change, have attached more pictures. the ph meter i have as you can see in the picture is saying slightly over 7 but unsure how accurate that is. could they be lacking nutrients since i have not fed them yet? thanks

you are not using that meter correctly; read instructions.
soil looks dense; use coarse perlite, at 30%, or better next run.
describe how you water.
is that a bland mix, or pre-fertilized?

Thanks for the reply,
I am using a local soil which is located here http://sog.shopau.biz/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=487

I watered with just over half a gallon of water, covering all the soil without pouring it all in at once, which gave me a couple of drops of run off water.

sorry but i can't see what im doing wrong with the ph meter? just watched a couple videos on youtube

the newer growth is a lighter green color than the rest which is making me think it might be a ph issue?

thanks

ya make a slurry of soil, mixed with distilled water, and measure that. soil looks good; I read the ad.
don't worry about ph' its soil. 7ish is good. let it dry out more between waterings, and make sure there is a gentle breeze on plant :) imo

cheers, tried that and it came roughly around 6.5, just worried as this is my first indoor grow which i've gone big on. but i do allow them to get pretty dry before watering, have now aimed the fan on them a bit more. i was hoping to start on the nutrients this week but might have to wait now. I might look into something different for veg as the NPK rating is 35-15-55. its hard to find anything well known id see on this site its mostly just local stuff,
thanks for the help

Take them out of the pot and let it dry with a fan blowing lightly. Then get some cal-mag....then get a bowl of milk. Some good cereal and eat it.

would you really recommend repotting them? i may change the lights from 18/6 to 24 to try speed up the drying process. i've grown outside several years now come indoor im a noob again lol

Those puffy saggy leafs are a good indication of over watering. once you see those root rot fallows then deficiencies show up.

by the way those meters are trash . use your finger to see if it needs water . I have looked at them In the store . put them into my bottle of water it did not change the reading . total trash . never to be trusted

we shall never know if he don't reply with . what he is feeding them . I do see why you think its the soil wet . but I still leaning towards him using a miracle grow nutrient . or some bull crap of some kind .

if your growing in good soil brew some tea. give them a cup with every gallon of water. you can go over to the michigan medical marihuana forum then we will teach you, or you can pm me and we can hook you up. Either way happy growing and look into the tea.

I dont see any sign of messed up leafs as far as over fertilizing goes what hes suggesting 35 15 55 is insane i dont recomend it but for some reason i want some.

cheers once again for the replys,
the soil im using is located here, as i'm in new zealand i can only really find local soil/nutrients
http://sog.shopau.biz/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=487

i have attached pictures of my nutrients, would you recommend using or find something with a more suitable NPK rating. i will look into the tea, thanks for that. also i have not given them any nutrients yet. since my last watering they have drooped some more. i'm hoping they will dry out fine and recover, should i wait until they look healthy to feed? its the nirvana seeds "Ice" which seem to dislike the overwatering the most, the rest dont seem too bad
thanks again
