Drying large outdoor harvest indoors and odor control?

Hey guys just needed some advice from someone with some expirience
on best ways to control indoor drying. I have had a range of ideas pop into my
THC altered brain :). I have an extra 'empty' bedroom in the house that I want
to dry in but when you walk into my house you can smell it, actually when
approaching the front door. I dont like this, neither does my fiancee.

As long as this odor is controlled everything will be okay. I thought about
building some sort of grow tent type deal out of cardboard or a tarp inside
this empty bedroom, drying inside it and venting it like a grow room with a
carbon or charcoal filter. Also have thought about buying a negative ion air
purifier "i know they are high but its worth my safety lol", but I dont want to
place it in the actual room cause ive heard it kills the smell of the bud.

What if I placed the ion unit beside where you walk into the door of the
house? Would it kill the smell and not affect the buds? I dont care how stinky
the room is, i just care how smelly the outside is. I have a child in the house so
a ozone generator is out of the question. Can someone help me out here?
Thanks in advance!

can fan on a carbon filter in a closed room should do the trick. you don't need the tent so long as your room isn't poorly sealed like an old Victorian might be. noisy but effective. you could also put ona gel near your front door that helps a little bit.
