Dry sift from trimmings?

So I just wet trimmed some white widow and I have a big bag of trimmings, do I put it straight in the freezer or do I dry it out then put it in the freezer or what the process you guys take?

I let my trim dry for a couple of days then put it in the freezer.

From there they go in my dry sift tumbler. I love my tumbler, I highly recommend one.

What benefit do you get from freezing?

The material becomes more brittle, allowing the trichomes to separate easily for collection
