a calmer population, just what the doctor ordered. they've been feeding us this half-assed social engineering for years. lights colored to induce a calming effect, color schemes to do the same, additives in everything to supposedly make us healthier, nanny-state laws to protect us from ourselves and we just sit here and take it. even though we know perfectly well that our government really doesn't have our best interests at heart, we calmly accept each new panacea as being for our own good. of course they never look to the cause of unrest, they see only the rise in violent crime and an anxiety ridden population and they treat these symptoms.

Isn't that what most medicine is about? Mitigating the symptoms, but to ensure you always have a job, never finding the cure or treating the cause?
