transfers usually give ya a short hiccup in growth as the roots adjust. If you have root rot, or light affected roots, then yes its gonna go slow.
Light damages roots, and roots can NOT be healed, they must be replaced by new growth.
This is why you always keep the root chamber light free, high in O2, and as close to 65f as possible. If your temps are over that 70-72f mark, bad things breed. Not enough O2 bubbles, roots drown.
As the plant has 2 grow fresh roots to replace the damaged ones, it can't do any vegetative growth.
Fill that net pot lid above the holes to block the light, make sure u got enough air bubbles (Pump big enough? Stones decent?) And get yourself some Orca (oth similar myco booster) its like magic, helps keep roots healthy n vigorous, while battling root rot...
Sooner the better on the light thing tho....
