Do the cheap bud trimmers work on dry buds?

I'm going to be stuck on the couch for the next three days trimming. Just wondering if I order a bud trimmer right now would I be able to set these buds aside until it shows up? I'm guessing it would take about a week to get here, I chopped two days ago, and they dry up pretty fast here in nm.

No. When I tried it, I was left with a bunch of trim still on my bud and a bunch of bud in my trim.

There is much still in need of development with these trimmers, none are as yet 'cheap', imo, what they need is an attachment thats sets the trim distance, as many of my buddies still think they over do the job, and remove way too much, leaving you with too much trim on the floor and too little on the bud, sorry but manual is still best
