Hi guys,

I have already received a lot of constructive advice on here.
My question: do these seed look normal? The are alway sprouting from the sides (not straight through the seed-shell)
and they look rather short don't they?

I am not paranoia, i just want to know what you guys think :)
They are 2 days old and they are a auto-flowering strain.

Thanks in advance :weed:IMG-20130620-00048.jpg

ya thats fine man. mine been looking like that all summer. been germing 5 @ a time then they go to solo cups on my window sill.
got about 15 6 inch plants now and 5 germing. the majority look like that man no worries. id give a little more time and throw it
in some soil like 1/8-1/4 an inch just barely under soil and give a little spray of water.

yes seeds sometimes can spout really funky, when you place it into whatever grow medium you are using make sure you place tap root straight down pointed end up, the seed will find its way to the top, Good Luck, Hopefully that's a killer strain :)

I was saving this to post in a separate thread then I saw this. I have been growing several years and went through the wondering stage forever. One day after much trail and error I made a breakthrough. I would like to share my seed germ set up directly to help your cause. I have had a very good track record germinating and transplanting seeds using this. I'm cheap and have limited resources to complete my task.

Materials:
8oz foam cups, water worthy storage container, bag of perlite, bag of Jiffy Seed Starting mix, pen for notes and some masking tape.
Poke four holes in lower portion all the way around cup then fill with three spoonfuls of perlite then top with four spoonfuls of Seed-Starting mix. Add tap water to moisten contents. Use a small stick to make a hole and place seed in it and cover. Place under light when sprout appears. Only water to moisten contents. If more than slight run off collects in container remove it. Single plants can be housed in tin can.

Photos illustrate current germ process in progress. Cups are marked with name. Masking tape is used to note other info about contents on the outside of container. After sprout gains three leaves I cut three holes in the bottom of cup and place into next pot.
