Do males and females flower at the same time?

Do males and females flower at the same time? I found a male in my batch after I got home from a overseas trip, which I killed. But now im finding all my plants are hermies. I think they might have opened up when I was gone. Do males open pollensacks early in their life?

yeah my males started 5ish days before females

Not talking about seeing if they were male or not, im referring to as when the pollen sacs open up. Its been about 3 weeks since Ive tossed out the males, and now im seeing the seeds on my beautiful buds
