Do air cooled hoods fit any light setup?

I might buy a bay6 600watt hps grow light but I want to buy a air cooled hood with it as well but I’m not sure if any will do or if I would need to buy a specific size. The company I’m going to get it from doesn’t specify the size.

There is a specific size to the bulb watts. 600 hood for a 600 bulb.

As far as I know.

It should say what bulbs fit.

They sell complete kits on Amazon.

Back in the day. They use to sell this Pyrex glass tube for baking bread. Not very popular because it looked like you'd have to tear the bread out the tube after cooking.

Well, some stoner decided to stick a bulb in it. Duct on both sides and invented what's called a 'Cool Tube'.

Then another stoner followed the design but instead of a glass tube. They made an enclosed hood. With two drawbacks. If the bulb couldn't fit through the 6" duct hole. You'd have to remove the glass face panel. But the room inside the hood could hold a bulb from 400w to 1000w. With the 1000w bulb being the fattest. I've used both a cool tube(made it, 400w) and an enclosed hood(bought it made, 1000w).

You shouldn't have an issue with the bulb fitting.

I only need the hood right now. Since it says bay6 I assume it should be a 6” right

When you first mentioned Pyrex bowl I assumed you was gonna teach me how to make crack since that’s what they’re used here for in the U.K. thanks for the help none the less

If I said yes I would just be guessing with you. If they have a 4 and an 8. That would make sense. But I can't say yes based on knowledge of that product. I have none
