2parts composted pine bark
1part peat
Powdered lime
And control released fertilizer ( osmocote or nutricote are good and will release evenly throughout the summer

And very acidic..........better add loads of lime to that pile and give it a chance to brakedown and work it's magic.....
The pinebark once composted is not super acid,, peat is actualy more acidic,, it would be better to add the lime and let it sit but its not necessary.. I mix it in when i plant and have had great results
