DIY bong, parts bought from Ebay.com

I bought some pyrex glassware from Ebay - in total, purchases came to less than $50.

I already had drillbits for glass. I bought grommits from the hardware store for a couple bucks.

The expensive part was buying the "rose" for it - the local headshop charged me an arm and a leg.

What do you think? Any suggestions of things to add on?

looks good but I have never paid for parts to build one, when it gets that far you buy one from a headshop. you spent more than most acrylic bongs cost but for glass its cheap. I just haven made one since high school. For glass its great for acrylic you paid too much for parts. Looks like it has plenty of water and nice big bowl I bet its a good hit, should see if you can fit a one hitter on that stem. I hate the big bowls as I like to taste the bong hits and you only taste that first hit the rest is clearing the bowl and yes it gets you high but tastes like ashtray

Btw it looks like you just took a nice hit, did you hold it in while snapping the pic?

it devours nugs quickly. it will easily fit a "popcorn-size" nug into the bowl. the bowl isn't as large as it looks. it's mostly glass, and the actual bowl is smaller.

the bowl is always cleared in two hits.

i "tested it out" on a fella who regularly provides people with high-quality buds, and he was motionless and retarded on the couch 20 minutes after taking a rip.

it bubbles all over. the stem goes all the way to the bottom of the pyrex vessel.

my ONLY failure is that the glass stem wasn't long enough to reach the bottom, so I used some acrylic tubing.

i'd rather use glass. anyone know where i can buy random pieces of glass tubing, or have one made to order?
