Did I do something wrong? 60 Day Wonder and Dinafem Fruit Automatic

In reference to my auto flowers being so small, I was asked if I started them off in their 3 and 5 gallon pots. Yes, this is what I did. Is that why they are taking so long to grow? I live in Alaska and put them in direct sunlight from sunrise to sunset. Started with 20 plus hours a day now down to 14 to 16 hours of light. The temps are in the high 60's and low 70's during the day. Down to high 30's and up to 50 at night. I keep them inside at night in a well ventilated heated garage. Any help would be appreciated. I am a registered medical marijuana patient, ex-state trooper and retired Army. My body has been shot, stabbed and blown up. My doctors call me an ortho nightmare. I can't lose my crop! It's expensive up here for utilities, that's why I don't grow with lights.

This is the Last Frontier. Approximately 600,000 square miles and 350 State Troopers. Just remember to live in trooper territory and not the city limits with their own police departments. Just kidding. Expensive as hell to live here, but if you hunt, fish, and grow, you can do very well and be left alone.

Like anywhere there is racism. In Alaska there seems to be a big riff between the caucasion and native alaskans (Tribal Indian and Eskimo). Most people are friendly enough and there are some military bases in Anchorage and Fairbanks. Everybody is armed and for the most part get along. I'm from Los Angeles, I couldn't wait to get out of the fast lane and slow down. During the winter nobody lets anyone walk in extreme cold weather. Someone will stop and pick you up and drop you off somewhere warm and dry. Lots of space between neighbors for me. I live rural and outside any city limits.

seems like its too cold for them. if the air temp is high 60's.. imagine what the temp is for the roots.. the growth is probably stunted

Thank you for the input. I moved them into garage with the temp up high. They perked up rather quickly.
