DARK green and wrinkled leaves. (pics)

Side shot, about a month old, LSTed, in Majestic earth seedling soil. No nutes except for 1/4 strength MG I added yesterday. I thought it would make it better but I think it got worse. Under CFLs, about 88 degrees most of the time. 3-4 inches from the light. PH is low, although I dont know how low... The strips I have only test to 6.0 so it could be lower... Is it a PH issue??
Top shot, WTF is wrong with those top leaves? They look dry and crispy, but they are still soft. You can't really tell from the pic but the dark spots are very dark green, almost black. Some of the lower leaves have dark areas and are twisted a little, but nothing like this.

horror stories with that mg-get some better quality nutes. looks like either overwater/excees or wrong nutes and ph problem. you def need to buy a ph test kit-they are like 8.00 at the pet store. I believe soil ph should be around 6.6-7.0
you could have given it those crummy mg nutes and due to low ph some essentials got locked out and making her worse-i would flush her and get some good nutes and test your damn ph.

20-10-10 on the MG. The test strips I have are from the pet store... Did you find something that has a larger range than 6.0-8.0?

a very low ph . and yes you do need something that tests more than 6 to 8 as anything lower than 6 is trouble and anything above 7 same bad news . M G is known for causing low ph levels which can cause lockout but that to me looks like to much ferts ??

that range should do it. soil I believe is 6.8. what is your ph? also google mg plant food and see what you get

I went and bought a kit, not strips, to test my water. It came with PH up and PH down but it is for aquariums. Is this safe to use in my water? Tap water is right at 7, but the runoff out of the pot is below 6. 6 is as low as it tests so it could be way lower. Should I flush with +7 water to neutralize some of the acid, so the runoff will be in the 6-8 range?

yes to the flush-if your tap is ph 7 than all you need is a few drops of ph down per gallon. flush with 2-3 times of water the size of your pot. just make sure you ph the water first and get it to around 6.5-6.8. and quit the mg nutes. wait a week or little more before giving more nutes and than do so at 1/4 strength. and not mg nutes, lol

Cool man. Thanks. I flushed and the runoff is now reading in the test range. It took a lot of water so it must have been pretty far below 6, but I think I am in range now!

cool. just keep that PH constant. she will need to dry out a but before next feeding which shoould be plain water-she prob has enough nutes to last a while. Do pick yourself up some good organic nutes-also keep your eyes out for any spotting and on the health of the new growth
