Damp smell

Hi all. Have grown Hash Bomb from seed in coco under a 240w cfl. Have dried and cured the bud, but today I returned to it, and when I opened up the kilner jar it smelt rather boggy and damp. Is this due to not flushing enough or have I not cured it enough and the damp smell is the result of when I thought the bud was cured it still had some moisture in it and has gone bad? Really need some advice folks as I have a new harvest that I am drying and don't want this to go the same way

Cheers

how long did you have them hanging to dry for? any idea what the temps or humidity levels were at?

It sounds like to me that you have jarred them prematurely!!!

have you "burped" the jars every 12-18 hours for the first few days ??

Best of luck that none of it got any mold!

i am not entirely certain, i have never had condensation inside a closed jar, what you should do is take them all out of jars and toss them in to some paper lunch bags with some newspaper to seperate the buds and leave them in the bags for 2 days then put them in the jars and open the jars for about 2-4 hours once a day until the buds are cured to your liking. (some like gooey and some like dry and crispy.)
