Colorado bans gummy weed candies

Last Friday, Colorado governor John Hickenlooper signed House Bill 1436 into law, effectively banning THC-infused gummies in the shape of humans, animals or fruit. These shapes will be illegal starting July 1, so stock up while you can.

A purely political move which will do nothing to curb accidental ingestion of cannabis edibles by children, this ban on certain gummy shapes is a reactionary measure by lawmakers who fear that cannabis candies attract kids.
So fuckin retarded ..lets make them penis shaped then :/ Im so tired of these stupid laws that make no sense and/or are contradictory

Well, somebody voted that asshole in, and somebody voted for that law, so blame the people. It's probably the old fucks who are stuck in the reefer madness days. Can't wait until that generation dies so we can move on

I was going to pass through and pick up some gummy bears too later this year. Guess I'll settle for gummy squares...

What would a kid care what shape candy is in? What kind of parent would leave it out anyway? Us old people don't leave drugs around kids, mine are grown up anyway...and one of them got me my last gummy bears ;-).

Honestly I think all THC infused edible should taste horrid, medicine et. al. but I'm an old fogey (I am proud of that). Any medicine should taste like creosote ha ha.

You have a point...but I like the taste of cherry gummies. It's really up to the parents! Kids have been poisoned on all kinds of household items...keep 'em safe, lock shit up, put on higher shelves...common sense is a good thing.

Most children's vitamins the gummy kind don't have iron in them because you can Overdose on it and children tend to eat lots of vitamins since they are basically candy

Cannbis edibles or gummies should be kept safe and away from children

The law in this is stupid but it's there because some people or bad apples are stupid or mischievous children
