co2 enrichment viable for me?

Your setup is just like mine. You are already for CO2 now
2 ac hoods, 8" passive intake, 6" exhaust fan in a sealed room with a carbon filter.
I run CO2 until the last 2 weeks of flower and it is so simple

First take the filter out of the loop and connect your lights to the intake. If you want to you can run the filter as a scrubber but i find it unnecessary.
Next get a CO2 burner and a monitor/controller.( or bottled gas if you prefer)
Start running CO2. At the end of your cycle turn it off and connect the filter back up. the intake then refreshes the room air.
It does heat the room and I have to use a modified shaker unit to cool but it does not work that hard. With no ac it will run about 95f but I cool it to 85.

I push through my filter. Hoods are radiators so your subtracting hot metal. I would feel better about giving further comment with a pic or two.

So i began the experiment. I took the glass off my air cooled hoods because its literally the same damn thing as open hoods. I ran an 8" passive intake and the exhaust is now just sucking through carbon filter. The room peaked at 88 degrees to its original 75-78 degrees.

So i think ill have to stick with air cooled hoods, connect the intake and exhaust to 1 loop, like Evlmunkee said, and run a portable AC, and seal the room.

I recently made the switch to electronic ballasts, so its going to be pretty cool in there i believe, so the AC wont even need to run very much. Are portable a/c units now days efficient enough? How many BTU for 2x 1000s?

Open to recommendations aswell! :)

What do you mean by modified shaker unit?

Also, i am on a 1 month harvest schedule, with 2 different cycles in flower at the same time, so do i need is the room going to smell bad and get musty if i completely close loop my air cooled hoods and just run an A.C unit?

So the conclusion to this thread was that i figured out what a "modified shaker" aka AC box, made one, mounted it to my ceiling and ran the intake and exhaust of the modified AC unit inline with my hood exhaust, now my temps are right where i want them, and my master controller is controlling my dehumidifier, ac, and co2 regulator. I will post some pictures in a few days just for the hell of it!

Thanks to all who chimed in, im sure ill be back with another question :)

This guys got it. Put the glass back in those hoods and run the lights air cooled but not from the carbon filter. Pull air from elsewhere, not the room. Then buy another fan and make the carbon filter a scrubber. Thats how i run my filter with my sealed room. It sits on the floor and has a fan on top leading to nowhere. It cleans the air and puts it back into the room smelling phresh.
