this was my first time growing, i decided to use k2 seeds i had 7 plants growing in a huge tupperware wrapped in aluminum foil, under a 450watts (hps) i was using mg soil and it seemed like i was burning the dirt i had the light about 12in away, and the plant was in one of those small steyrophone cups i watered it everyday but nothing came of it and the top of the dirt looked burnt ima start over but what did i do wrong please help thanks

hay slow u gotta get some air in the and get rid of the tin goil and just spray paint the inside white. get a fan and cut some holes or what ever u have to and blow some air across the light. what are ur temps or do you even know.

a 400w is too much 4 seedlings . if ita all u gt then keep it at least 3 ft away to start and move closer week by week, keep ya temps between 21 an 28.c an check the ph of ya water(no nutes), gd luck this time.. spend sum time looking through the faq section on how to grow marijuana it will help alot

WOW! thats high. Your plants wont be happy over 85 f and 75-80 is ideal.
Were is the temp from right at the light?
