Hi folks,
Long story short - on my first grow 4 days after switch to 12/12 i dropped a fan:wall: on the bigger healthy plant(the other one is somewhat retarded) and it broke some of the branches off. On an off thought i cut the tips off and put them in runoff water, expected them to die but its been about a week now and the clearly refuse to die :) So my question is, should i even bother with trying to grow them? They have been in 12/12 cycle for total of 11 days now, can i just revert them back to veg?

Also, quick question about nutes. I see posts from ppl using flippin coctails of various stuff - is that really necessary? I mean, im only using the biobizz bloom and thats it, should i add something else? Sorry for the question that probably was asked million times. Or more. Thanks for any input though.

The experience may come in handy someday.

Nutes are fun additives that can potentially make make your grow medium more proactive than it currently is. Obviously adding too many nutes is bad m'kay. But adding the right amount and the right kind of nutes is absolutely fantastic. I am personally stuck on super soil (https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/338384-2010-revised-super-soil-recipe.html), I think soil makes the bud taste way better, and I like only having to add water. If you do your research, you will find out what the right levels of nitrogen, potassium, phosphorous etc. are in your plant at each stage of your plant's life. Obviously without precision and attention to detail you will not benefit your plant by going nute crazy. I'd suggest trying new things out each time you grow until you find a way that you are very comfortable with. Then add to that way of growing by trying new things every grow.
Your plants look like they're doing well man, keep up the good work.

Sweet, I will plant them asap then :)

As for nutes I wanted to go as minimal as possible, but yeah, I guess I need some proper reading on that subject as Im sure this grow wont be my last. As for the rooting hormone - do i need something specific like rootech or will any rooting hormone from gardening store do?

Rooting hormone should be used on a fresh cut, not one that is a week old - save your money and they will probably root with no help at all.
