Classic, true, sour not sweet, Sour Diesel in 2022?

Sour is my all time fav strain. The cubans in Florida had it on lock for a long time and I sold a bunch of theirs 15+ years ago. I believe there are many sour cuts that fall under that description. I am running one now that I believe they call the Albany cut. There are also Rez's S1s, AJ's, the cut that the Chem fam let out(I believe that is what Skunktek and possible Plantspeaker have..."the real Sour"), Chaco, etc, etc. There is a clone dealer on the gram that is reputable and he has a very popular cut as well. My cut def is a sour. Which one‍♂. I'm on week 8 and I can confirm she is what I have been searching for. Def gotta dial her in thou. Bout to attach a pic.

She def like her nutes. My soil was fucked up this run and she had some issues. But I took a bunch of cuts and plan to dial her and and the soil in better

Deathstar is one of my fave Sour Diesel Xs, if you can find a real cut-I have a pack of AKBB's which is on my short list to pop before the end of the year. I just finished a grow of Old School Genetics "Old Red Sour" which is SD "Riri cut" X landrace, and it turned out incredible in every way-got 1 lb off a single plant, beautiful crystal covered light green nugs, and that wonderful SD flavor. It's the best SD cross I've grown in over a decade, but there are other plants out there with a deeper SD funk...but still, I highly recommend it.

Yea I have to hunt this down too. I haven’t experienced SD. Just been popping seeds in my own little bubble forever. It would be neat to experience a (pure) classic

I just had a pack of dedee snagged by customs it wasn’t expensive but I wanted to try it so bad .. it’s a riri sd bx .. I do have riri x blueberry Made by esko b4 he retired

I’m speculating I believe the Albany cut is the same as Chaco and rez cut there was no Albany cut back then just sour then I think the Chaco got sick and ruined the reputation.. Albany and the Chaco cut come from the same central area ..I’m hard pressed to believe there was two cuts it would have been known from back then I also believe Rez and chem had some business dealings I’m sure it was the same sour

In fact the distance btwn Albany and mass is only 2 hours .. the distance btwn nyc and mass is 3-4 and Albany about 5-6 so every one knows the mass/upstate boys had the sour for a decade nyc had the market .. I never understood the nyc sour tag it’s always been mass /upstate sour .. I guess it was the first place u could find such high level weed it set the bar plus getting 600 a zip can be done blindfolded those times

I know he has the real deal SD and he is trustworthy. Not sure if he is still on strainly but worth a shot if you want the real deal cut.

I made this thread cuz of shoreline OG. He sent me some testers, one of which is an ECSD cross. I’m sharing those amongst close family to run outside this summer. Had me itching to find the parent of his cross. Should’ve asked him but I owe him some picture proof of these testers before I ask much more from the fellow. Good guy.
