Chopped her what do you think?

I chopped my girl about 3 days ago. I let her hang dry with all leaves. just started trimming her. What do you guys think? Nothing but 6 32watt CFL's, FF Ocean Forest and FF Trio of nutes. Looks pretty nice to me and smells even better. Still have more trimmin to do.

Looking good, next time cut off those small buds(shoots) that are at the bottom of the stem when they first appear, it will direct the energy to the bud sites higher up

looks like 3/4 to maybe 1 ounce grats on your harvest. i hope you still have alot of nutes left cus you spent alot on nutes . upgrade your grow lights next!

i just switched to jacks classic to save much money and im going away from fox farm stuff it did me well though im just starting to realize alot of the marketed stuff is not needed. i still like using happy frog though been debating on switching to sunshine #4 though.

Yeah I have a lot of nutes left. Probably stick with the CFL's. As the cost was low and heat is an issue in my room. Pretty excited.

How long from seed to finish?

Took about 12 weeks. Give or take a few days.

IDK the dry weight yet because she is still drying. I don't have a scale either bc it's for personal use so not to worried about weight. Kinda curious though.

You will need a scale to tell what you got on weight. But if its for personal then I wouldn't even worry. Just divide it up to last until the next harvest.

Do you know the strain?

No clue on the strain. It was bagseed. Next grow I will be ordering seeds. Probably sativa because me and my wife don't like couchlock. Also why i harvested this girl a tiny bit early.

Looks good. Just a thought on the sativa, they take way longer to mature, and get way taller. It's all in the trichomes for couch lock, or energetic, etc. Invest in a cheap pocket microscope around 45X. You can get them on ebay for almost nothing. Keep a watch on the trichomes when it gets close to harvest, and cut when their very cloudy. When they start turning amber is when you get the couch lock effect. I personally like growing Indica best.

Sorry buddy but thats wrong. Couch lock is all within the strain. Amber tricomes are DEGRADED THC, you do not want lots of amber.

Thanks for setting the other several million of us straight. Yes, you are correct that amber is degraded THC, but everything I've read says that causes the couch lock effect. You should look it up.

Actually turbo, nova is right! Amber trichs are degrading. You dont want them to turn amber, just cloudy, but when you do see amber that means they have reached peak and it is time. The more cloudy the more couch lock, by the time they turn amber you are losing thc and effect. Also strain does have a huge affect on couch lock versus heady. You are both right lol.
