Looks like the folks in my neck of the woods really like chick-Fil-A. Yesterday was chick-fil-a
Appreciation day. This was in response to the statment made by the president of the company who spoke out againist gay marriage .....
whats next I'm hearing is a kiss in.
What ever happened to if you dont agree with a business practice or policy you just didnt spend money there....after all isnt that what drives a business

Some people are desperate to show how "ungay" they are. When they stood in line at Chick Fil A yesterday they wanted to make sure all their friends saw them there so they would know, and then there was baby Jesus to consider. They make me nearly as ill as said chicken and waffley taters!

What is the purpose?

Chic-fil-a has no reason to be involved in politics.

I would MUCH rather see two of my best friends get married and be happy than eat a fucking waffle fry.

I just think that being gay is unnatural to the cycle of life.

I think those people in line have every right to express their opinions as much as the Occupiers did. Plus, they didn't leave behind a mess to clean up.

I didn't see or hear the famous interview but it is my impression that this is personal opinion of the Pres. of Chic. I didn't ever hear that this was a corporate opinion.

in my opinion things are better left unsaid, maybe its just a whole marking scheme, like the Oreo campaign, if you own a private business you shouldnt say anything racist, or against anything like homosexuality if people dont know people continue to eat your goddamn chicken and let the unsaid be unsaid.

I tend to disagree with you about all humans being parasites.

You think picking up random bits of trash you see on the ground helps? Do you know there are 7 islands of garbage floating around in the ocean that have a combined land mass of a large continent?
Have you seen the destruction that oil mining causes? Do you understand the reason that oil mining exists and what drives it?

I really don't want to get into an ecology lesson here but needless to say that every human is a parasite upon the earth, people may have good intentions but that doesn't detract from the fact that we consume, produce waste and do not benefit the planet. Each person in North america literally lives like a king. Measured in slaves, each person uses the combined energy of 100 slaves in oil products every day.

Take a quick look around your house and marvel at the things that oil produced. Your shoes, your plates, carpet, wood floors, your vehicle, your food. Pretty much everything you own, use and look at is produced by oil.

Don't tell me to pick up random bits of trash when you know nothing about me, I'm a fucking ecologist and not only do I understand how everything in the world is connected and can visualize each and every linkage right back to it's trace elements in the soil, I can see how humans are a blight on the planet. You may wish to disagree with me on this but you can't. My facts are facts, yours are wishful opinion.

either way i tend to stay away from these kinda threads normally i wont pop my head in i cant really keep it calm as my mother is a lesbian and i love her to death and support her choices i am completely 100% for the lgbt community and have a very strong opinion in the matter

Hey Sunni, Good morning.

I don't think it was a marketing scheme but if it was it was the wrong thing to do. I kind of agree with you except just because you own a business doesn't mean you don't have a personal opinion or can't express it. His mistake was making a personal opinion in a business interview. I could be wrong about the personal opinion thing I didn't see it and don't really care to.

I did love the comment by a columnist yesterday. 'Just shut up and cook the chicken!' lol.

Ok, I missed the Oreo campaign what did they do?

picture of a rainbow oreo people were anti gay groups are apprently boycotting oreos, and said oreo affiliated products,

i think its ok to have an opinion but in an business aspect i dont think it should stand your there to make money not political statements keep them to yourself ya know
