Sounds like you live in the same type of hot ass climate as I.Excellent point, @pulpoinspace For my garage setup....I try to shutdown during the hot summer months.
Then there's nute res temps.....I'm forced to run a chiller in the summer- arghhh. Winter, no chilla needed.

Still no AC here keeping my 315W cmh and 6 27W T5's at a nice 26C
Room temp 23c, outside is about 24 peak during day, drops to 17
