Started collecting my own water and since dust and all sorts of unwanted particals enter my rain drums.
I figured it would be a good idea to filter the water before feeding my lovelys.
I sourced a charcoal filter head designed for taps
With that I decided to create a funnel system using my daughters pop top juice bottle.

Parts used; plumbers tape, pantyhose, charcoal Filter, juice bottle. Total cost $3
Very cheap and effective way, to remove some of the gunk we dont want.
Thought i'd share!!
