Hi, I'm starting my first grow with 1 plant. Can I use like 2 23w 6500k for veg and 2 23w 2700k for flower?
Thanks again

The two will be fine for veg, but I don't think you will be happy with your yield if you only use two for flowering.
If you plan to veg for any more than a couple weeks, use all 4 bulbs for veg, and then plan to get more 2700k's for flowering.

yes i suppose you could but its really not enough, end up with popcorn buds. I veg under 2-200w lotus cfls, flower under a 1000w hps.

My first grow was using CFLs.

I made a reflector that held 8 bulbs. i used the 3500k 42w cfls. 2 bag seed plants in a 2x4 closet yielded around 100g. 1/2 of it was airy popcorn buds, but they had some nice colas tho. i did let them get to tall by far.

I recommend making a new hps light your first upgrade tho, they make a difference :)

When growing with CFLs, keep your plants short, or bend them over and keep the lights around 4's above them at most. try to put the bulbs around the plant, not just above it.

two 23 watters will work for veg but you will get very slow growth use all you have if not get more and for flower you will most deff want more or you will feel like you wasted your time
