Central Ontario Grow (pics)

Here's a snapshot of our current grow

They were sprouted around May 15th. Started in 3 gallon pots and moved into the soil (late June) where they've stayed. The soil is ammended with some cow manure/bone meal/bloodmeal/kelpmeal and perlite. Lots of good stuff. We decided to let them finish on their own won't be adding any more nutrients to the soil.

We have:

1x The Church and
1x Big Bang from greenhouse seeds

1x White Berry from paradise seeds

The White Berry is about 7'tall.. about 3-4 weeks into flower.

The Big Bang has turned out to be quite a weird plant. Right now it's about 5' tall and maybe a week or two into flowering, just exploding.. expecting lots of bud when this one finishes. Thats the picture of its stalk.

The Church is also about 7' and 3-4 weeks into flower. Gunna have a massive main cola on this one

Very nice look girls! you using any nutes? I can only hope that you dont have those girls completely surrounded by corn, if LEO is an issue for you. From the sky those girls are gonna stick out really bad in those corn field....imo.....idk....good luck tho...look good!

That's what I first thought. But I'd be scared that they would harvest the corn before the weed was done myself.

I'm growing in central ontario and was thinking that must be your corn,who would leave such beauties to chance!?lol...Anyways my couple plants started budding mid august and are BARELY going to be done in time for the frost.At the start of October it will have been about 6 weeks flowering,which is about as late as I could keep them out last year. Are you not worried about that?

Yea, the plants are in a 'nearby' corn field. Don't really worry about cops too much. They have bigger grows to look for in the area so even if they do see the plants, they rarely wanna walk through acres of corn for 3 plants.

I've been a little worried about the frosts too, I'm hoping and not expecting a frost for another 4.5 more weeks.. Oct 4th is the next full moon so there's a good chance there. Which means my Big Bang and a few other plants will only have been flowering for ~6 weeks.

They've received a few feedings throughout veg.

But now we've stopped feeding them cause they have enough nutes in the soil to last throughout flowering so we're not adding any more.. this will hopefully bring them to maturity a little earlier too.

I just hope for the best, I know that most of the grow will finish in time.. I always plan to harvest on Thanksgiving and most of the time we make it

Please mother nature be nice to us Growers I hope for our sake its true what they say about the summer weather coming later and staying longer. I'm in the same boat tho,just waiting it out,slightly pre-mature buds are better than nothing!!!

I had some indoor ladies I got 7 clones from in the spring, put them out @ begining of june, and now they r all 3-5' tall, and im pretty sure they have been budding since about mid August. the weather has been all over the place, when do u guys think we will be harvasting these bitches?? end of sept? first week of oct?

Yea I am hoping for the first week of Oct maybe the second that would give me 7-8 weeks of flowering.Although I have pics from last year where a couple ladies were still out till' mid-late October (very purple at that point)

Wow nice plants Chromer, the first hard frost last year was on the 18th, had a few nights where it was down to -.5 to -1 C..Nothing they could not handle tho.

Thanks everyone, I was thinking along the same lines.. I don't think any of our plants will be done until at least the first week of October.

And yea, growing in corn is pretty reliable
