Can you take a clone after you already started flowering?

My roommate didn’t want me to continue my grow after this one but I have a monster super sour diesel plant that was a clone and I wanted to clone it so bad but didn’t have the space but now I do and said fuck it I still wanna grow so is it way too late to take a clone?

yes, no problem... the clone will end up looking super crazy and bushy..but it is fine.

yes. they usually root faster, but the flower takes a few weeks to revert to veg. first will come single blade leaf sucker branches, then regular growth

Be prepared... They come out looking pretty crazy... Like a dude that really needs a haircut. The good news is that they are bushy and have tons of tops without the need for topping. Google "Monstercropping"
