ive always heard that once you cut all the stocks off of your weed it will still regrow and produce more for the next season. please is this possible? when the answer comes the setup and design will be posted after.
Re-veg is not some sort of myth, it is a well established technique. You might be able to buy clones in medi states, but you can't easilyt buy them in the rest of the world. Seeds will give different pheno's, it is often one specific pheno that makes something famous, and you can't be sure that you'll find it again, so as i say, if you grow something that suddenly makes you wish you'd taken a clone, then it's not too late. That stump takes up no more space than a pot with a seedling or clone in it and the advantage is that it already has an established root structure. In the past i've found re-veg plants to often grow out a lot faster and rigorously than seeds or clones. Clones will need generaly 1 week+ just to root out, seeds will take that long to establigh themelves as seedlings. I say it is swings and roundabouts. If you leave lots of buds on, then you will get many many new shoots.Dam, Would it not be faster to buy clones or seeds? Will that stump really throw out branches? Keep me posted on your stump run, I throw that shit away.... I could be wasting a valuable plant I think I look at it differently... paying for the lights I want to make the most bang for the buck... and that stump would be taking up valuable real estate....
ent no winter in my grow cabinet but you are correct, come the frosts they're not gonna be happy plants, more likely dead plants.
OK, I mean sure, anything CAN be done but seriously?? Shortage of seeds at Attitude? I mean come on!!Sure you can. It's called re-veg. Harvest your plant but leave 1 or 2 small popcorn buds on the lower branches and trim everything else off. Come a veg light cycle it will re-grow and can be put back into harvest again.
As to why you might want to do this, i don't know, ever grown something that you'd wished you'd taken a clone of? 1 of any reasons.
Like this one i flowered and wished i'd cloned, so now i'll be able to grow it again

I don't follow you. Where am i wasting time and money. As i have said, this is no "experiment" this is a well established way of doing things. Take for example a current plant i grow, the clone only exodus cheese (not gonna find that at attitude other than crappy wannabe knockoffs ) should say my mother die or a clone not survive, i do not have to risk losing a rather special strain, i can just re-veg it and grow it out all over again. I guess you missed my other point, say you find one cracking keeper phenotype, it's not too late to keep hold of it even if all you have is a plant that needs to be harvested. You keep mentioning spending money, here's me not spending money, i spent money on the first set of beans, and now i'm re-growing a good plant from that set, i've saved money. You are essentially questioning why people would bother cloning a plant. It is essentially a concept no different than cloning. Here's what I'm saying! It costs money to grow pot. Period. Now you can do a hobby grow and if that's your thing then have at it but if you're growing quality bud, it costs money. If I spend money, I want the best bang for my buck. You get that with quality seeds or quality clones and good nutes. Period . If you have a legal grow then you are constrained to a certain number of plants. I'm not wasting one of those numbers on some experiment. If you have an ilegal grow then I'm not risking my freedom on anything other than dank. Legal or illegal it makes sense and sometimes dollars and cents to get the most from your grow.
That's all I'm saying. Why waste your time and money ?
You have to leave bud, this is where the new growth will come from, just leave a couple of the bottom buds, they'll be of little real significance in terms of harvest weight etc.Ok.. I am gonna give this a try... Since space and light is not an issue.. I will leave my coveted alien OG with some leaves and branches on the bottom.. minus any bud..... I am in the process of giving it the chop.. so If I yeild 100 to 200 percent I am looking at a cool 3/4 to 1 1/2 pounds.... I will give her a try and let you guys know...
its like a big reverse cone, basically just leave a few bud sites or whatever on the plant, and put it under 14 hr light and she will pop right back, think about the equator where the weather would never be bad enough to cause a true winter, there may be places with 100 year old ganja trees growing like giant bonsai bushes,Dam, Would it not be faster to buy clones or seeds? cloning is way harder than reveging, and reveging is just continuing to grow the same plant in other words it is just as potent as it was the first time through except this time its roots are already established so it can focus on puttin out a shit ton of shoots, so it comes back really fucking bushy, this means lots of bud sites when you go for flower number 2, i dont know who this shit talker is, but he obviously has no common sense, reveging has been done by nature for thousands of years,I don't follow you. So in short, my time has not been wasted, i have a new plant and i know exactly what it is unlike with seeds (i have already explained why clones is not a relevant arguing point) and i have saved money.. And anyway, i grow quality cannabis, and the best genetics cost me nothing, they were all gifted to me from forum members from various parts of the world.

Again though, it's no experiment or gamble, it is not as widespread as cloning, but it is just as well established a technique.
