Can seeds overcome genetics?

I have 2 trusted seeds I used for my grow but my friend got a couple seeds out of bud that wasn't so good. He now has a couple female plants and I been telling him it won't be good bud.

Can the plant still turn out to be good if it was grown properly and healthy?

I don't know why some people or websites say if the bud wasn't good then the seed won't turn out to be good either. They must think they know it all or something lol

you have no idea what the father (if there was 1) will bring to the table and s1's are not exact replicas of mom. i've grown plenty of brick weed that turned out great because it was givin some love.

Yeah they call it plastic surgery or augmentation. Maybe some makeup counter time.
I grew some brick weed that turned out to be brick weed too.

2 supermodels have 4 kids and one is the next supermodel and the rest are average. What happened, Genetics do that?
