Burnt tips and rusting leaves

Veg 7.5 weeks from germ. Ocean forest soil amended with 5 tbsp coast of Maine 524, 4 tbsp down to earth 444, and 2.5 tbsp of blood meal in 5 gal fabric pots. Under mars hydro fce3000 aabout 70%. 2 plants, one is black sugar and other is gelato (both seedsman). Temps are 82f average lights on and 70f lights off with average rh of 50%. I’ve been watering with 6.78ph water and compost tea after 2 plain water waterings (for the second plain watering I top dress recharge) . The compost tea recipe I’ve been using is:
3tbsp wormcasting
2tbsp drearth 463
1tbsp blood meal
Brewed for 24 hours with air pump
My last watering I fed 1.5ml of cultivation nation calmag distributed evenly for both plants to fix the issue, the black sugar responded well in health. Gelato not so much
the Gelato plant mostly, the tips are crispy, some leaves are bright green on the edges, and some are rusting on its edges. The Black sugar plant seems to be fine and is fed the exact same way. I’m sure it’s genetics for the difference but how can I fix this issue.
first three pics is gelato, last two are black sugar

The first picture looks to me like it might be a zinc lockout, which is most commonly attributed to alkaline water. Not as confident about the others as far as that diagnosis goes.

I'm nobodies expert though, good luck.

Well , let’s see …..

How about … I don’t know , stop concocting a witches brew of nutes ?

That ocean forest alone could feed it all without compounding problems with unbalanced feeds.
Stonington plant food , on top of nute charged ocean forest PLUS fertilizer tea.
That blood meal is not an instant nute - it will take time to breakdown .
And finally Calmag.

Way overthinking things for a simple plant.

Ok ok I understand, no need to get smart. I read that ocean forest only has nutes to last 4 weeks. I’ll start watering with plain water for next few weeks.

Sorry wasn’t being smart - just no need to compound multiple feeds - rope that in and all good.

Plants look stunted from N tox.. Overfeeding..
Ok, I appreciate the reply. So moving from here, I should only water with plain water for the next 4-6 weeks, right? Any tips for growing them larger after this mishap, and is it fixable? Also can u elaborate on the overfeeding; I should relax on the blood meal and adding 463 to my tea? that’s what I’m getting from this reply. I have not top dressed anything other than the amendment from transplanting to 5gal.

Any tips for vegging them bigger and faster? The reason for using the blood meal was because I believed the surplus nitrogen would make them bigger. And how will this effect the grow, are my plants likely to stay small?

Personally, if my plants looked like that I’d start over, expecting low yields and hermie problems from all this stress. Wonder what others take is on this?

Control what you feed and allow plant to work thru excess. I wouldn’t really feed right now. She is a bit unhappy but not dead. Cannabis is pretty resilient so i think they can turn around.

Water only when it is actually drinking not because it’s “ time “ to.

Ok. And of course another reason they look unhappy is cause they were pretty dry. This is next day after posting and watering.

Here is the updated photos if anyone replies. Flushed 2.5 gallons of water (sat tap water, 6.78ph) through each plant, they started to bounce back, dark green is turning into bright green, looking more lush, and have grown an average of 3 inches since initial post. Overfeeding was the culprit for sure. I know their shape looks wacky but I stopped the LST to ensure no more stress was added, will pick it back up in a couple days

Put it like this if you would’ve bottle fed those nutrients like the top dressing you gave your plants they would be fried!! You’ll learn over time when the plant needs something they will grow on their on time. Ohh keep your environment in check :bigjoint:

Yeah the stongington blend and dte don’t have potted specific dosages like dr earth does, I couldn’t find a chart at least.

so the only tips are to just give more time for growing larger? No way to make it faster?
