No need to be terrified just learn from it and carry on. Your RH must be too high you'll want to monitor it with a hygrometer. You want your RH between 40% and 60% during flower. Also one or two small fans to move the air around.

He said outdoors, not much you can do with RH outside but I suppose you could put a fan on it.

i ended up cutting out all the moldy parts and just chopped it down and hung it so hopefully it wont be a complete waste
some strains are not ment to be grown outside, you want a tried and tested outdoor strain. look in the gorilla growing section and see which strains did best outdoors

It’s botrytis.
Too humid and cold causes that.
And the spores come from the ground.
Looks like you are in a plastic greenhouse.
So too humid in there for flowering by the looks.
Grow Trainwreck next time and improve your airflow.

If you use "Tricoderme" (it's a microbe) this help prevent root rot - This is found in all microbical additives (stump Tea, Miicrobial Mass, Great White, ect_

Arber also makes a great biofungicide and is available in most walmarts or even cheaper on ebay. Works great for PM too.

Man Im sorry, bud rot sucks. I have really good luck outdoors with Northern lights or heavy NL leaning crosses, almost flawless most times even with the crazy northeast weather, right up until harvest. Skunk strains also do well but need to be topped multiple times to keep the colas thinner cause they usually grow into monster plants, but they finish fast most times and are rugged plants overall.

Also no matter what strain you grow you need to make sure your plant has everything it needs as far as nutrients, minerals etc. A healthy plant with thwart off alot of those issues, but a plant that is stressed or lacking those essentials, its immune system will not be able to handle the constant bombardments of fungal spores and pests.
