For clones.Nothing but R.O. water 5.6 to 5.8 ph till leaves begin to lighten up then 250 to 350 ppm of B vitamins and Carbs
I use B-52 and Bud candy(aka carbo load)but with these I only used B-52 fyi

454watt 8x t5 cfl just will not provide the light for the lower leaves.must invest in 400w.CFLS will work
as long as plant does not get taller than 3 ft and have space for light to reach lower branches.or
they will begin to look like this....look at lower leaves starting to droop

The Australian branch of Advanced Nutrients actually went broke... It doesn't really fill me with a great deal of company confidence.....

But I will say, your plants look fantastic...:-)

I am a Canna Nutrient girl myself and have been for many years, it just does what I need it to, as Advanced obviously does for you...

Keep up the exceptional work...

SORRY to hear that.I have been very happy with there sensi line.always yielding 1 1/4lb of smoke per 1000w and that is with stressful conditions and starting with a new strain.I am keeping a detailed log of which strains are sensitive and how they react versus others I have to get the most out of the grow the next harvest. I am trying to get 1g per watt like I did towards my MAZAR grow...By the way I have used and do like CANNA line years ago very friendly for COCO COIR only problem I was having was they were using alot of Anions and not cations in nuutz which bring your ph up in soil plus they did not have much research with beneficial bacteria or fungi(until recently)I have been watching them closely because I do use there soil(#1)they have made far strides in there product and would use them if I did not have my AN line..Canna has come along way in the last 5 years.
I would recommend a good source of these Beneficials to best reproduce nature example Sensizym, bud blood, voodoo,Tirantual and piranhna I have found my rootszone loves this nothing like beneficials add these to my soil it forms a web of goodness around my roots....Again thank you for watching

OH yeah I do use HUMBOLT county nuutz during harvest and EMERALD Shaman if the plants will take it after I have the strains down after a couple grows

IMG01026-20100418-1553.jpg
I keep my electronics off the ground away from water and my nutrients in a COOL DARK place.
I will replace sheet with blk/wht poly in a couple days.

Always looking good Johnny... You've definately got the touch... I love your system, my only criticism is your coco and that's only because I can't grow in it...lol.. I drowned my plants last coco grow, I went from a hydro system of watering 15 mins every hour, to coco and I felt I wasn't watering enough, so I drowned them....:-(

Lovin' what you can do....

Something on my mind, just want to share my 2cents

I have been reading lots of others grow journals and love to see so many others growing now.
Before I mention my thoughts I want you to know, I am in no way a certified grower or have a phd.( yet;) )
I do have over 20 years in my family's greenhouses growing up learning and have been a happy grower for 12yrs
and feel I know some stuff but have much to learn.now saying that, one thing I have learned and do practice,IS>>>
WHEN IN DOUBT,FLUSH IT OUT!!!!!!
I myself have had problems were I thought I was having a deficiency when it was not,so if im not sure, I always
flush with the lowest PH for my medium(thats if my mediums ph has a tendency to rise)and always use R.O. water ALWAYS
(your tap water has bacteria that kills that bad bacteria but will also kill your beneficial bacteria that your roots and
plants so love,so never use tap even if you let set it to get rid of chlorine)
SO water for 4 to 6 days if it begins to yellow up that is much better than stressing it out with to much nutz.start back around 800ppm
then work your way back up.
PS your ph can be a battle till you get your cations and anions down...
again my 2cents

Yeah over watering can def happen, then comes the green and white mold which is always fun.I kinda treat the coco like a soil medium I watch them and when I think there ready I then pick them up to see how light they are not how heavy you will get the hang after a couple times. What I have found out with the coco is I can let the medium dry out and then the mediums color lightens up usually about 24hrs past normal watering this does not seem to hurt them or does not seem to stress them out near as bad as over watering but still do not recommend
I cannot wait to get my 4x4 flood and drain table, makes my life much easier.

Lacy You should try coco again just do one or two 3 gallon pots with a small saucer to retain water.you can use a drip system (at peak you will need to water once a day for 20 to 30 mins depending on how much water pressure+Canna nutz are great to yield 1+lbs per 1000w with there coco coir line with wrist size colas,Advanced nutz has been a learning process since they no longer have a line designed for coco so I made it work with stellar results. With the 4x4 setup I can leave for 5 days and come back with NO PROBLEM, oh yeah.
Thank you for the comments.keep up the good work on your grow,Ill post picks on day 14.
