Hi all,
Wondering about the best time to apply dry amendments like chicken manure, guano, etc to the soil for an outdoor grow? I have pelletized chicken manure and was wondering if it was better to work it into the soil a month or two before planting to get it started breaking down, or if I would end up losing a lot of the nutrients due to rain leaching etc.?? Should I just wait and mix it into the soil when transplanting out?
Also regarding Phosphorus to provide a boost for flowering, I have some guano I was going to add, and was wondering the same thing about the timing. Should I wait till the ladies are closer to flowering and topdress it in, or can I mix it in the soil before planting and not lose all the nutrients?
Thanks!
