All about BICs in my opinion but you can find some nice candle flame refillable butane lighters. I use this old butane Zippo with my tobacco pipes but it would be great for herb - real clean adjustable flame and it stays on all by itself.

Leaking fluid sounds odd, surely the leaking fluid means a breach in the seal means no pressure means lighter no longer works.

Zippos always leaked if you overfilled them..

He was talking about a clipper, a sealed lighter that operates via pressure. I don't see how there can be a break in the seal yuet the lighter still function.
