No budget...talk to dan at timber. Get the shit right. I am not a paid troll. I bought the cheapest light he had and he gave me good service and that light is still in my tent

A timber 2VL....200 watts in 2 lights at 3500k

With height restrictions the lighting changes. If you have restrictions or not etc.

New people like to just hang a flat box and flick a switch. Its easy and simple. But to make a nice small "box" for a chilled, it would drive price up.

It's a pretty good deal if you want all the colors it would take a lot of time to diy something like their board and the cost of some of the colored diodes they use is pretty high. The puck is pretty basic maybe not worth the money. I personally use hlg I like 3000k I'm considering adding a couple chilled boards to my hlg 600h an dimming everything a little next run. I

I just put together half my 4x4 light using QB288's. Really like what it's putting out and have it in there next to a 3x4 EB strip light that just doesn't quite cover the whole space. The idea is to build it in stages to ease the extra cost. I'm wondering if hanging a single Chilled board in the middle might impart enough of the added spectrums to make a significant difference.

The quest continues

I’ve satisified my first light and went with timber cobs , now I have another 3x3 setup to fill

I was going to go with chilled but they’ve become non existent no longer responding to emails after telling me they hadn’t some stock issues for the light I wanted , electric Sky is intriguing but they don’t give much detail on their product and that worries me , they dodge specific questions , I questioned amare about some particular efficiency specs and they stopped responding as well: seems to be the trend , I am not bashing lights or doubting their individual greatness ; I would just like to know specifics on ppfd at canopy and efficiencies when I’m being told I’m going to get 1000ppfd at 24 inches in a 3x3 with 300 watts , I would like the math to back it ,

My goal since I am running a cree cob setup in one tent , I want to do another tent with a prebuilt light with some far reds and other colors added ; I want to do a side by side as I will be flowering in both tents

I’m
Hoping someone can recommend other options that will give me the best light in a 3x3

I can spend money, over $1k if I have to

DIY is not an option and it never will be in my situation

Honestly they’ve been the most direct and responsive that’s one thing I’ll give them but I like the idea of trying different stuff I’m trying to get a feeler for if I missed anything or not , if not I may do just that

Well that took a quick turn! Both amare and chilled got back to me!!

I purchased 2x200 watt chilled lights with the controler and 1x 300 watt amare (they will go in seperate spaces) , that will be in addition to the timber, i will definatley post some grow journals, once i get everything dialed in

lol you musta won the lottery or something.. $1200 to light a 3x3? :clap: (shit.. i just remembered I almost paid that much for my SGS's :oops:)
