If doing LST do not force a non elastic branch, you can achieve some excellent results if your are careful and patient with your training you can coerce amazing things

Here is my green giant which i'm thinking of changing to blue giant because the original mother flowered to a light blue tone in the buds.

And also My white russian mother. both are younger than two months of age as far as roots go, the green giant is chronologically older due to cloning.

Also showing Gen 1 original pheno mother of the house strain green giant and its 2 off spring gen 2 and 3. Holding true to its bushy fast growing form with no mutations to its sativa yet. And of course the beef cake indica leaves of the white russian.

This is just to show with proper care you can produce wonderful vegitative results with very little watts and inexpensive nutrients

These two strains are very different the fat leaved indica is White russian and the other slim leaves sativa is my home brew green giant x blue cheese.

Both these have been grown in normal schults potting soil and fed schultz powdered nutrients. I paid 30 dollars for my schultz nutrients and I haven't rain out or they haven' t not went bad on in me over a year now. I love out performing expensive premixed nutrients. All it takes its a good eye and a scientific mind, the salts they use to mix the food in all the big name hydroponic premixes are the same as what you find in cheap salts you must add water to your self.
The white russian is about 40 days old and the other is a clone that has been rooted for rought 60 or 70 days.
