I planted 3 seeds into my miracle grow ... well when i was sprouting them i put the jar by the heater(Bad Idea) i saw the lil tale coming out of all of them took em out put them all in the dirt.
well one week later I have 10plants but not what I expected to have, turns out the heat from the heater killed the seeds after they cracked, i then planted 3 dead seeds!. and the Dirt I put them in somehow got grass seeds and Basil in it so now I have grass coming up and 10plants of basil!
this is when I smack my head with a botany book! lesson learned be paranoid with the dirt I use, and with how much heat im actually exposing even the seeds to during germination. last but not least
