An absurd lie, of course. Or is it? A return to $2 gas is simply not possible in a healthy economy, but there are conditions that could cause it. It would require prices for crude to be about half what they are now. A deep, global recession or depression could bring that about.

whered this come from? oil disappearing doesnt cause climate change. but if the oil did disappear, wouldnt that mean all that shit that wouldve been burned off into the atmosphere wouldnt be there? and btw, climate change means the weather gets more extreme, not just hotter.

yes and we use that resource much faster than the earth can produce it. and yes, we do know how oil is made in the ground lol. you say when it gets harder to find, we will develop technologies to find it. thats true to an extent, but can we just continue to use and use and expect to find there is more there? can this continue forever? what if oil use doubles? would we still be fine?
