Auto's in Air Pots

Hi all, for those who have grown autos in air pots could you give me some tips and advice. I'll be doing the Alien x Triangle strain from The Vault. All I know about autos is they don't like being transplanted! What I thought I would do is 1 in a 22L air pot and 1 in a 20L standard pot and see which it prefers...

Auto pot's have square pots that sit on the valves to open them airpots are round with loads of holes in for air pruning.

totally sorry man, half asleep/stoned.

on your original point. it really doesn;t matter. a normal photoperiod plant you would pot up at least three times and finally about a week to 10 days before flip to let them develop root structure. with auto's they flower straight away under 18/6 they'll only grow so much root whether you put them in a huge pot or small. airpots are a good way to grow anyway no curling.

Thanks dude ill be running them alien X triangle from the vault I know they're not going to be big plants I just wanted to get the best root structure I have 2 air pots at 22.5 litre and a spare 20 litre normal pot I only have a small flowering room and ill be running my hybrid in a dwc at the same time another question can I do what I would normally do with normal photos as in top and lst?

Those are huge pots for autos. how much light are you using?

I personally wouldn't top or LST them as you would normally do both in veg and there is no veg with autos.

I will be using a 600 hps.. so what your saying is just grab a pot drop the bean in a leave it obviously give it nutes and water...

That's basically it. you should see plenty return from 3 plants under a 600. you'd definitely be better using 3 DWC's yieldwise

Yeah I thought about the dwc way. I didn't want to put all my eggs in the same basket it's my first attempt at dwc so if it goes tits up I'm screwed...

Oh no man my current grow ends this month apart from drying and curing lol I have my next run set up I'm running the hybrid X northern lights x northern lights but I entered that comp on here so ill be receiving 5 (or I think 5) auto beans for free so just want to get the most I can out of them

You'd never find me at the seedbank checkout with autos in my basket either I prefer to have the opportunity to switch lights and timing schedule. But I see why they'd be a good idea for people just starting out to gain knowledge

yeah true that, I think the extra time to end weight ratio is better with normal photo periods is better. You can get normal strains that finish fast these days and put out.
