Yes that's normal but not searched after. The ones that flower at day 30 or before don't amount to much couple ounces. Personally for beginner's I think photo periods are a better route. You get to veg as long as you need to in order to take a healthy plant into flower. A auto you mess up you're screwed since depending on growers knowledge, light, and genetics it'll only pull 1 to 5 ounces. Another personal opinion but autos can have a place in every grow if you're running more than one grow. You can grow a photo with exactly everything you grow an auto with, but you pull 2 to 3 times as much with a shorter light cycle for flowering. I ran 11 autos this past grow so I'm no auto hater that's my durban poison it started flowering like day 25 horrible the other is a euphoria and Aurora borealis both started flowering a little after day 30 I'd prefer day 45 or 50 but for me that's rare. I'll add you can get more yield with lst these 8 autos were supposed to go outside but I wound up getting stuck with them in my flower tent. For me it was too much work to pull all those plants out. I run 2 tents a closet and outdoors. Those photos have been in veg for 2 months waiting on the auto flowers to get done but you can see how much bigger they can get.
