auto flowers - size pot

Hi all,

Just a quicky. If I was to grow an auto flower strain in soil outdoors and indoors, after you have germinated in a root cube, and the roots poke through should I then transplant in a 3 litre pot then transplant to a 11 litre then maybe a 15/20 litre. Or should I just go straight into a 15 litre. Only asking as I have many different pots from 3 up to 30 litres. Am tempted to go straight into a 30 litre, but then again would the auto flower just keep producing roots and produce nothing up top or do they only produce a certain amount of roots until they go into flower. Or am I just talking bollox? Strains are silver hayes auto and big bud auto. Some will be grown outdoor next summer in soil obviously and indoor but not sure weather soil or hydro with pebbles? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Transplant directly into the largest container. Autos like to get rooted early. Well established roots correlate to bigger yields with autos.

Thanks guys
I remember I grew my 1st one, in my grow thread, in hydro pebbles and it was massive (went straight from root cube to flo-grow). The second one went from root cube to 3 litre pot then transplanted to 15 litre where it didnt grow again. Obvioulsy because the 3 litre pot affected it. It all makes perfect sense now....
