Don't forget England!. BRITEX is epic, and IHMO rudimetally, the same phenomenon as Trump winning the presidency against all odds, with his MAGA, and drain the swamp campaign. Trump's wall a driving factor as immigration was for Brittish voters. ...

At the root? A sense of stagnant declining quality of life standards for the "blue collar" working class. I have to admit I am caught up in the sense of desperation. Like this Keynesian Monopoly game is about over. (Multinational corporate shareholders the winners. IE 1% holding 90% of the wealth)

Time to start a new game?

I suppose I feel bad for those that don't realize the game ended around the turn of the Millinia. Many are trying to cling to the "American dream" of a bygone era.

Well, seems like it's time to, heed some of Timothy Leary's words and::::

"Turn on, tune in and drop out"

Wake me up when my red lipstick wearing Wonder Woman, as the NEW GREEN DEAL on the table..

Till then have fun "working on it". (ya right?!)
OK, so when Republicans continue to get in the way of Democrats trying to implement the changes you dream about, how about recognizing the GOP are the real reason the 1% is sucking down all the extra productivity gains made over the past 40 years.

If you really feel the way you say you do, either go out and create that third party or if you can't stop navel gazing and don't vote Democrat, realize you are assisting Republicans in their quest for more corporate welfare.

I'd peg the end of the American Dream at the mid 1970s, with the Buckley v Valeo decision of 1976 and the 1980 election of Ronald 'trickle down economics' Reagan.

Nancy Pelosi's first official act as House Majority Leader was to hamstring the Green New Deal by pushing PayGo, shunting new Representatives away from committees where they might make a difference and killing the influence of environmental committees.

The notion that Democrats are somehow pro labor is also a cruel joke, as any examination of their voting records when they're actually in the majority will uncover.

Sounds about right. I was young and pure minded in the mid 70s. Politics did not rot my brain yet.

Think I'm done with political discussion for a while.. Got more important things to do.. Like the half pound of perfectly good pot I just dumped in a clear box and stuck it in the greenhouse to oxidize! Hopefully convert THC to CBN.

Would like some nice seditive CBN concentrates, think theirs a real need for that, instead of Valium and what not.

Gonna slip back into whats important, the sun, the moon, the season, growing plants, making people smile cause my produce tastes good. Ya, hanging out appreciating the critters, like ants and worms which I am convinced they are way smarter than us human critters.

Blood sucking fucking government can fuck off.! Continue to take my worldly possessions. But no way they get my soul.

Pelosi a wolf in sheep's clothing!

Wake me up in 2024 after Trump's second term and Alexandria, is old enough to run for president. I throw my soul at it then.

Checking out is exactly what they want you to do. If you go, they're the only ones left to make decisions and guess which way those will go?

That's why they intentionally make the political environment as nasty and poisonous as possible; it's that way deliberately to drive reasonable people away.
