Yup. Pretty much why I joined here. Last time I grew was prolly 30 years ago. Shit's got a bit, hmm, more since then. But in many ways, stayed the same, just a bit more fine tuned. Still have to wrap my head around the LED lamps though. Too many seem to be duds, and the others seem to be WAY more $$$ than a good old HPS.

I used some cheap LED's from a company called KING. They were pretty cheap and they worked good enough for my first grow. Give em a try and you won't break the bank if you don't like them.

Yep, LED's are the shit for AZ. I remember when we first passed medical use and I had cultivation rights for 3 years before the dispensaries opened and the 25 mile rule went into effect. I started with an HPS and even with ample ventilation the tent would radiate heat so bad it heated up my home office to the point where air conditioning was useless in that room (Maricopa was running in the 117's). Went to some Area 51 LED's (which I still have) and immediately felt relief from the high temps and my yields jumped up to 4 oz/plant. I feel they are much safer too and less of a fire hazard.

Same , "authorized to cultivate" on my first green card 2012..3 x 600's in a 7' w X 6' h X 4' d.. sealed hoods vented to the attic. My temps were @ 78. I was never worried about a fire

Just watched the certification live and to celebrate I vaped some Hazelnut Cream....what a lame formality to make us wait for. The SOS signs a bunch of doc's and passes them around table to Ducey.......still it's done! I was just thinking....I'll bet I'm still paranoid when I'm trimming a grow and the whole house reeks and wonder if the neighbors are gonna smell it. And where am I gonna dump all those leaves and stems without someone smelling that? Now it's time to let go of that trash in my head and enjoy my favorite passion....

Anyone actually read the bill? Its less than clear about in-home possession. Just lumps possession, transportation, etc in together with a 1oz maximum.

So are you saying that growing the 6 allowable plants may not exceed 1 oz in weight ?

Thats the way the bill reads. Very strange.. although it doesn't actually define 'possess' either.

Then under penalties/violations it mandates that up to 2.5oz must be only a petty crime but doesn't list what occurs after 2.5oz.

Edit: also, up to 12 plants per household. Lol.
