This is a double post... I need answers fast.. Do you need to use a voltage regulator when running a 1000w electrical ballast with its own external breaker to protect against power surges
Do all households have breakers tho?.. I have this problem where my ballast burnt a brand new bulb an will not switch o. Now, everything is still under warrantyWhy would you need to surge protect the surge protection? Breaker on the building, breaker on the ballast, Think your covered.
I have never had one of the tv's or any appliance pack up because of power problems in this house, for over 12 yearsDo all households have breakers tho?.. I have this problem where my ballast burnt a brand new bulb an will not switch o. Now, everything is still under warranty
How much power going into your house. How many amps is your breaker box.I have never had one of the tv's or any appliance pack up because of power problems in this house, for over 12 years

I have a multimeter here would I be able to get the answer?I’m wondering how much power is in your home. Almost seems that you are not getting the correct voltage
I have a multimeter here would I be able to get the answer?
230/240v 50/60 hertz, can I test it with this multimeter? I've never used one before BTWwhat is your power? 230V at what Hz? 50 or 60?
on your ballast, it should have incoming power on the label.
that's good.It says 230 or 240 v and 50/60 hertz
I have never plugged in without a bulb, and yes a 1000w ballast with 1000w bulb.. When I first got the ballast the MH light they gave flickered, so I used the hps for 2weeks before they replaced it, I decided to use the dual ark since it's an autoflower strain and after 3days give some.. Bamthat's good.
did you ever plug your ballast in to the wall without a bulb in the socket?
and to be clear, this is a 1000 watt hps ballast and you have a 1000w hps bulb too?
