Hi,

I've putted a big chiller on my aeroponic rez, to keep the temp around 68F, and all works good. I can't get rid of the temp below the lamps, that is even 86F...

But I've a good ventilation of course..

These temps are ok or will stop the plants growing?

Thanks ;)

86 should be fine, not as good as 80 but damn close, I wouldnt worry if you keep it at around that temp.
I know 68 is said to be perfect for hydro, it just sounds soo cold :P I would feel like a sad panda with water that cold. crazy plants!!11

The range you need is 24-26C (75-78.8F). 86F will all but guarantee heat related problems like stretch and bolting or 'runny' buds.

A cooltube would help quite a bit.

I'm not using HPS or MH so no cooltube. I'm using neon, a lot of them. The trouble is that I was too dumb to think at the heat problem when I've done the light panel, that is "full" with no hole for the air flow. At the end of this cycle I'll remake the light panel letting the air go up, using few metal pieces, and the heat trouble probably will go away.

I've putted 3 fan to dissipate the heat at neon level, and help, but not so much.

IDK man I know plenty of people who've done fine with themps sometimes reaching the low 90s
no doubt 80 is ideal but it should still work, especially if you have decent genetics!
Mexico, and India get quite hot, sometimes over 110
I knw fdds backyard gets alot hotter than 86!

what are runny buds?!?!
