Are balls inevitable?

Realized that for about the past 2 weeks now, one of my lights was in a timer that only goes off for 15 mins , twice, in the middle of the night. I’m now 4 weeks into flower. So for the second half of that 4 weeks they were only getting 30 mins of dark. Now that I corrected it you think I’m growing balls anyway?

So which is it?

One light was going dark or all the lights were going dark?

If just one light and the others were still operating normal you should be fine. If all the lights were staying on then I would think you would be seeing plants beginning to reveg. Pics would help and at min better explanation of the issues.

I had 2 lights . They were on 12/12. 2 weeks into flowering, I bought another light and plugged it into the wrong timer so when the 12/12’s turned off , the new light stayed on all night. For week 3 and 4(current week)
They are now in reveg because there were single blade leaves growing out of the top of 2 of them and I can’t see bright green growth on all the tops . I switched the lights all to the correct schedule now and waiting to see if it herms or not.

I don't think your plants will show intersex but they will definitely be needing a full transition to veg before trying to resume flowering.

The above post was to me, and is irrelevant now as we were talking about the other scenario where it was just one light going dark while the others stayed on.

I went downstairs to adjust the fans because I was doing some research for another issue and thought maybe I was getting wind burn so I ran downstairs before the lights turned off and while I was in there, the two lights shut off and the one stayed one on and I said “oh fuck me”

So I already corrected them back in 12/12 last night . I imagine they are past their shock. After two weeks and it was safe to change the schedule, right ?

That depends on the plants. Are the leaves growing normal or are they throwing single blades ?
A few single blades from the top bud sites on plants closest the light that was on. Besides that I defoliated my plants a couple weeks backs and I noticed that the fan leaves we’re still growing. It makes sense why,now..

So your saying you were 12-12 for 2 weeks then went back to 24-7 for 2 weeks now back to 12-12 if so those plants have been stressed pretty hard I would be keeping a close eye for herms. Also sounds like the plants are reveging Good luck on this one.

He's saying one light was on the whole time the other two lights were on 12/12.. the plants them selves never saw 12 hours of darkness
