You should be able to feel the lump which will push back in fairly easily. I had an umbilical hernia above my belly button. It doesnt hurt badly but it was fairly uncomfortable when lifting etc. Had surgery and it was good as new, they were going to put a mesh in to stop it happening again but i was training a lot at the time and had good muscle development so there was good anchor for the internal stitches.

If the pain lasts more then a few days go see the doc.
You don't always see an obvious bulge. I went to doc with one and he showed me where I had two very small ones. Hernia surgery isn't much these days. Done by robot they tell me. Don't know. I wasn't awake. Outpatient. Get her done.

Lol it doesnt hurt at all just weird I always have to push it back in my stomach and I don't wanna get cut open but I know it's a simple operation just need to make time and do it but now with covid everything is back seat ! Have a good day don't lift with your back only with your legs and Good health to everyone ....thanks
I don't have no lump. I do have lower back pain and hip pain on the same side. Its gotten better quickly, maybe just a strain.

Hernia's are the most common surgery there is. I've had one since 1997, and it continues to get bigger and more painful. Get it taken care of early, it's easy peasy. Wait like me, it's a bigger deal. I'll get mine done as soon as this Covid crap is over.

Here's 53 oz in a 4 X 4 sq. ft area......... the other 4 X 4 ft. area opposite to it yielded 53 oz too. It's my first grow too. LOL

I got one right above my left nut. I got it about 11 years ago. I hate dr's, so I read online where you can do these exercises to strengthen the lower abdomen wall. I did them for a few months, and I was good up until a couple of years ago, then it started bulging a little and aching. I wear a hernia support belt almost every day. If I dont, it'll start aching. Like yesterday, i was on a short stool transplanting about 90 plants, and after all that abdominal stress, it hurt like a mother. I know i need to just get it done... but you know, Covid and shit.

Unfortunately, I have had an umbilical hernia since childhood. It was complicated to live with it when I was young because I couldn't have fun with kids either, which upset me. Of course, after the surgery, I got much better, and I can live my life to the fullest, but reading articles about hernias drugwatcher.org is very sad. I don't even want to imagine that people can die because of the carelessness of the manufacturers. This is unacceptable to me, and I would do it if I could do something about it. I can only wish all people with hernias to be strong. We will be fine!

One of my buddies had a hernia, his guts would go into his nutsack making it the size of an orange he said, he would literally start crying and would lay on his back and grab his nut and push the guts back in, crying the whole time. He didnt have health insurance and the doctors wouldnt touch it unless he was going to die they said. He lost his job went on EBT and medicade fixed it for him. Man i used to grind my teeth in horror when this would happen when i was around, I felt hella bad for him.

Yikes!.... I hate Dr's, but i'd never let it get that bad. I just have a small bulge (by the end of the day), some days it aches, some not. But yeah, that's bad for your buddy. Glad he got some help anyways.
