Anyone ever grow sleestackxskunk?

got some about to flower i have been growing for about 7 months now that are in early flower and am wondering how others have done with this strain?

wow 7 months, Pics of the beech. got to be a monster

it was stunted for like atleast 2 months while it was indoors, not the best conditions, but when i switched lights to 12/12 to sex em I put em back into veg and they grew like a rocket, Here's a pic of my "good one" my slightly smaller one is starting to bud but this girl is scaring me and has only shown pistils for a long time, weeks if not a month.

OMG!!! :-D

That is crazy! Is she gonna be flowering totally outside?

What are your concerns? Size? Finishing time? Because I am really impressed - one of the most insane plants I've seen in ages. Props!

Yeah I only have cfl's so the will be flowered outside if everything goes well, this is my first grow so I really dont know if im doing well or not so its nice to hear good things, my only concern was having it flower before temps get too low.

jus as i figure a MONSTER nothing to scale it with tho but the fact u are looks like 20 feet back makes me think 7-8' JEEZZ!!! if you wanna speed up the flowering you can make a tent to put in under for 12 hours so the moon and stars anit slowing it down. jus frame up a BIG ASS frame and wrap with black poly. but yea that thing is crazy reminds me of a guy in spain that was almost 15' when finished

I've got 2 going outdoors right now. Started both from reg. seed, both turned out female, sprouted June 5&6th. One in 5gal pot, one in about a 3gal pot. At first they both took off, huge fan leaves, tthick stems, lime green. After they about 3ft I topped them, didn't want to but knew they would get too big. I Fimmed one and missed, stunted the hell out of it( small pot), the other topped and is growing better. They both started having their fan leaves turn completely yellow and eventually fall off slowly. I read that skunk#1 does that. Recently I started upping the nitrogen to see what happens. They are just showing signs of preflower right now, finally, starting giving them FF Open Sesame to what, if anything happens. Almost ready to give up on the smaller one, my garden is pretty crowded, but ill stick it out see what happens. They are definitely not my favorite plants. Ill never grow them again unless the buds turnout to be high quality. They are slow developers, who knows when I'll harvest, middle Nov. maybe end of Nov.

Yeah, thought finishing time may be a concern. If she's started already though that is a good sign. Should be pretty much done by start of October. Only you can tell if frosts will be a problem based on your location. One thing that has affected me before is humidity as autumn/fall sets in - 90%+ at night, 75% days = nightmare! If you get lots of rain get out there after every shower and shake off the water. Good luck dude - she could make you very happy.

Cool, it is atleast 7ft though, I just really hope I can get a good harvest from it.

Stick it out with em, my plants were in haaaard shape all winter. I also had the yellowing I even had red dots that would form on my fan leaves, I said screw it and put them into flower when they were like 2 feet tall but, a buddy told me that since spring was around the corner just put em back into veg, was good advice I don't think I was going to get shit from them.

Mine are almost 6' right now and like said they are just starting to saw preflowering. I hope they don't stretch too much. Wishful thinking. I might just start bendinding them down from the top. Wonder if they can handle a little stress, hate to stress them as they just start to flower. Do you know what kind of quality these produce? Not worried about yield much. They haven't been easy to grow, could have been partially my fault. I think they might be nute hogs. What's your opinions?

i use fox farms liquid nutes and i havent been ableto burn them for awhile so yeah they can handle a good feeding. I would say dont try to super crop it but maybe slowly work it over if you want

The first pic is the SSxS in a 5gal pot, it's doing OK, I topped it once at about 3'. Second pic the plant in the background, yellowing, is the other SSxS in a 2to3gal pot, I know I'm having rootbound issues but I just going to let it do its thing. They both have just started to flower. The other 2 plants in the 2nd pic are both Girl Scout Cookie clones, one in a pot and one in the ground, actually the one in front is in a pot set into a hole. They are both starting to flower now and are doing great, they've been very hearty and pest resistant, they've been easy to grow so far. But you can see I not very proud of the 2 SSxS, iv neglected them somewhat. Should have given them more nutes, didn't realize it til later, but ill see what happens.

how come you think they are root bound?

The small plant has lost almost all of its fan leaves before it started to flower, which was this week. I haven't been giving it as much nitrogen that it needed and it being in a small pot made it even harder to get many nutes unless I ran nutes through it constantly almost. The larger plant in the big pot was able to get more nutes due to the larger volume of soil. It too lost quite a few fan leaves but not near as many as the other plant. I have read that Skunk #1 tends to be lime green and fan leaves turn yellow, but I think lack of nitrogen and RB added to it. The pot is only 2 or 3 gal and the plant is over 4'. I'm no expert but from what I've read those seemed to be the problems. I gave them both some FF Grow Big a few days ago and I'm seeing an improvement. Today I gave them their first feeding of Tger Bloom. I given them both some FF Open Sesame last couple weeks. If you have any input please let me know.
