Yo. Buddy grew some buds indoor, harvested not too long ago. Using 2 400w HPS. Buds smelled ALRIGHT, looked hairy but not sparly at all, gave a slightly decent head change. I'm going to guess hes not getting enough light to his babys? What would be the most likly reason for getting buds like that? I'm sorry if you guys have any more questions or need nore description I'd be happy to answer. Thank you RIU.

Wow, Ty for the quick response. Asked about temps last night actually, said RH is 40% (might be a touch too low, but 40-60%. Temps stays between 70-75 (mint). So He might need to move those lights closer to his girls?

edit** clones are from bomb danks, so we know genetics has good potential.

Move the canopy to within about a foot I would think. My very first grow was some killer WW but under a 400W HPS didn't produce very dense buds

Next time I'm over there I'll do the old hand too warm under light test, and I'll ask him again, what his temps really are see if I can get a straight answer. One last question, With 2 400w lights about how many plants in soil would YOU guys put under those? I think hes got close to 10.

It could just be that he cut them down too early. That was my mistake in my first 2 grows. The breeder package said they would be done at a certain time and so I just assumed it'd be right. The buds felt somewhat dense and then as soon as they dried they were just airy little turds. Next go around I gave it an extra week or two and surprise surprise I had big fat juicy buds. Just a thought cause that heat and RH sound just fine.

2 400W lamps placed side by side creates a footprint of 3.5ftx7ft
18 3gal pots placed a few inches apart should fit in that space
